The annual Kyoto Gojozaka pottery festival is now on for 4 days August 7-10.
Running about a kilometre along both sides of the street, from 10am to 10pm it draws thousands from all over the world. With temperatures around the 36-37C mark this year its cooler than four years ago when it measured 39.5!
Evening comes, temperatures cool a little, the lights come on, ice coffee gets exchanged for cold beer and the festival takes on a different atmosphere.
My shop B1 no.230 up the top of the hill catching the breeze!
I would like to go to your shop. Is there anything that can help find the place?
